Kathleen Vaughan appointed Concordia University Research Chair

Huge congratulations to cluster member, Kathleen Vaughan, who was recently appointed as Concordia University’s Research Chair in Socially Engaged Art and Public Pedagogies (Tier 2), effective June 1, 2016.

As part of her five-year research mandate, Kathleen will further develop her series of textile maps of the political ecologies and personal experiences of urban nature. This environmentally oriented project has thus far explored gentrification and urban change as well as the place of nature in our cities.
