In what ways can we examine structures and their origins through opposition? transgenesis provides a perfect scaffold for us as makers to deviate from the norms of physical form. Can we hack nature? Can we hack form and function? Can we untangle and re-tangle these string figures? In this talk, I examine genetics as a structure and consider how it may expand our material futures.
