As an ecosystem in a circular space-time, the exhibition will bring together artists’ and scientists’ devices for interacting with the bodies of mineral, vegetable and animal. This exhibition will trace a century of Quebec’s cultural history under the theme of “living art” to describe the first claims of modernity till now.
Between technical know-how and technology, these artistic and historical circuits will allow visitors to see that beyond the representations of living forms, it is the materials themselves which draw an invisible line between art and science, nature and culture, tradition and modernity, history and life.
