True to this motto, state of DESIGN presents on its third exhibition and framework program in Berlin on the occasion of the BERLIN DESIGN WEEK the latest projects and products of over 26 national and international designers on 1200 sqm.
Patil Tchilinguirian presents her work, Armenian Spatial Imaginaries as part of Berlin Design Week’s state of DESIGN exhibition.
Patil Tchilinguirian is a Montréal-based Lebanese-Armenian multidisciplinary designer. Patil’s artistic practice is socially engaged and driven by cultural, diasporic and political narratives. Her work has appeared in various exhibitions in Beirut, Barcelona, Istanbul, Venice and Linz. In 2015, she established Patchil design studio where she focuses on research-based and collaborative approaches to the development of communication strategies and the creation of print publications, data visualization, textile installations and urban interventions. Patil’s diverse portfolio includes work for UNESCO, UNDP, VisualizingPalestine, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Online Censorship, Mercy Corps, the Central Bank of Lebanon, and many others.
